2007 Presidents Conference

La Quinta CEO Search Partners hosted a private dinner party on November 12th during the 2007 International Foodservice Manufacturing Association (IFMA) President’s Conference.

Dinner was held at the James Beard award-winning signature, AZUR in La Quinta, California. La Quinta Resort & Clubs has served as a Hollywood hideaway, serving celebrities for nearly 80 years.

Appetizers, cocktails and live music began at 7:30 p.m. poolside at the spectacular Eisenhower Presidential Suite and Gardens, where President Eisenhower frequently stayed. Ike’s Eisenhower Suite is full of the former president’s personal effects and memorabilia. Dinner was served on the scenic outdoor Garden Patio, which is nestled at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Guests from all over the world consider this casual, yet elegant oasis their ideal getaway.

We had the wonderful opportunity to meet Chef Withrow, who famously offers “California-international cuisine.” The chef’s French-European inspired cooking methods combine a variety of California fresh seasonal products with international imported delicacies. The restaurant’s extensive wine list has been noted by Wine Spectator magazine and offers vintages from around the world.
